Disco, bowlen en vriendschap. Deze transcendente waarheden waren volgens Immanuel Kant al zonder twijfel de beste combinatie voor een geslaagde activiteit. Daarom verbroederen we maandag met onze vrienden van Katechetika voor de leukste editie van discobowling in de geschiedenis, en dit voor de even geweldige prijs van €3,5. Om 20:00 verwachten we jullie voor de poort van het HIW om samen naar de Naamsestraat 89 te gaan. Op eigen initiatief gaan is uiteraard toegelaten.
Vanaf 10:00 op maandag openen ook de inschrijvingen voor de cultuurreis naar Londen. Dit kan via de website op http://nfk.be/cultuurreis-londen alwaar je ook de presentatie met meer informatie over deze trip kan vinden.
Helaas is de laatste fakavond van dit semester alweer aangebroken. Daarom zorgen we dinsdagavond voor een laatste spetterende editie. Met genoegen presenteren we jullie de voorleesfak! Vanaf 22:00 kan je een fragment uit je lievelingsboek, een gedicht of eender welke tekst komen voorlezen. We hopen jullie daar allemaal te zien!
Het Kerstfeest van NFK heeft een jarenlange traditie aan het HIW, en mag dus ook dit jaar niet ontbreken. Daarom is Woensdag iedere (pseudo)filosoof uit elke uithoek van ons Instituut uitgenodigd voor een avond vol cultureel en gastronomisch vermaak in de Sint-Antoniuszaal (Leonschreursvest 33, Heverlee). Om 18:30 zal er een wake plaatsvinden, gevolgd door een receptie om 19:00. Het diner zelf start om 20:00, waarvoor je wel een kaart nodig hebt. Kaarten zijn tot dinsdag nog steeds verkrijgbaar aan de balie van de bib en dit voor de prijs van €12. Wil je woensdag nog een kaart kopen? Aan alle mooie liedjes komt een einde en dit geldt jammer genoeg ook voor onze ongeëvenaarde, wekelijkse broodmaaltijd. Deze vrijdag willen we jullie een laatste keer uitnodigen om ons te vergezellen van 12:00 tot 14:00 en er de beste broodmaaltijd van het semester van te maken! Overgebleven eten van het Kerstfeest zal ook aanwezig zijn.

That’s why we’ll fraternize with our friends of Katechetika on Monday for the best edition of disco bowling in history. The last fakbar evening of this semester’s has already arrived. That’s why we provide a spectacular, temporary end of our tradition before entering the winter break on Tuesday night. You are all more than welcome at the reading fak! From 22:00 you can read an extract from your favourite book, a poem or any text you want. We hope to see you all there!
The Christmas Dinner Party has been a tradition of the HIW for years, and this year, we’re not planning on changing this one bit. On Wednesday, (pseudo)philosophers of all shapes and sizes are invited at the Sint-Antoniuszaal (Leonschreursvest 33, Heverlee), so we can share an evening full of cultural and gastronomical pleasures. At 18:30 there will be a vigil, followed by a reception at 19:00. The party itself, for which you need a ticket, starts at 20:00. All good things come to an end and this is, unfortunately, also the case for our unrivalled bread meal. This Friday, we want to invite you one last time to join us from 12:00 to 14:00 and create the best bread meal of the semester! The leftovers of the Christmas Party will also be present.
