WEGWIJZER
Een groep vrienden, drie dagen, the Big Ben, cultuur, the London Eye, feesten, the Thames, thee, the Tower Bridge, rode telefooncellen en gewoon een heleboel plezier. Wie wil er nu niet mee naar Londen met NFK? Maandag om 20:00 zal er in Aula B een infomoment plaatsvinden over deze legendarische cultuurreis (die plaatsvindt in het 2e semester). Kom dan langs voor concrete info!
Tientallen soorten bier, aangenaam gezelschap, wijn, goede muziek, gratis nootjes, kortom de ingrediënten voor een ideale avond als ontspanning tussen het vele studeren door. Dinsdag om 22:00 verwachten we jullie allen in onze fakbar (M-café).
Een “Hannah Arendt” film (door Margarethe von Trotta) gevolgd door een filosofische discussie. Dat staat er op het menu voor woensdag. We verzamelen om 19:00 uur in lokaal A van het HIW. Na de film is er tijd voor een discussie vergezeld van snacks. Laat even weten of je komt met een mailtje naar monika.ciblyte@student.kuleuven.be of hannaalex.licht@student.kuleuven.be.
Brood, aangepaste muziek, €1.5, koffie, dessertjes, heerlijk beleg, fruit, alles voor het perfecte middagmaal om de week in Leuven af te sluiten. Vrijdag van 12:00 tot 14:00 staan we voor je klaar in de lounge met alweer een geweldige broodmaaltijd. Zeker de brave kindjes komen best een keer langs, want wie weet heeft de Sint ook de dag voor zijn verjaardag al wat lekkers in petto.
TOEKOMSTMUZIEK
Dé dag waar iedereen zich op verheugt, komt steeds dichterbij. Woensdag 10/12 viert NFK Kerstmis. Kom zeker naar ons kerstfeestje, koop daarvoor nu je kaart aan de balie van de bibliotheek. Die hele avond met uitgebreid diner, fijne jazzmuziek en bekoorlijk gezelschap kost je slechts €12! Het NFKoor zingt die avond in de wake, meedoen is absoluut een aanrader. Repetities gaan door dinsdag 02/12, vrijdag 05/12, maandag 08/12, dinsdag 09/12 en woensdag 10/12 telkens van 13:00 tot 14:00 in de Leo XIII kapel.

NFKALENDAR
A group of friends, three days, the Big Ben, culture, the London Eye, parties, the Thames, tea, the Tower Bridge, red telephone boxes and just a lot of fun. Who would not go to London with NFK? Monday at 20:00 there will be an info meeting for this legendary culture trip (which takes place in the second semester). The meeting is in Auditorium B. There you’ll get concrete information!
Dozens of beers, nice company, wine, good music, free nuts, in short the ingredients for an ideal evening of relaxation after all the studying. Tuesday at 22:00 we expect you all in our faculty bar (M-café).
A “Hannah Arendt” (by Margarethe von Trotta) film review and discussion. That’s on the menu for Wednesday, 19:00. First we watch the movie, then we continue with a discussion and snacks. Music, €1.5, coffee, desserts, delicious spreads ,fruit, everything for the perfect lunch to end the week. Friday from 12:00 to 14:00 we are waiting for you in the lounge with again an amazing breadmeal. A Flemish tradition is to give the children candy and chocolate at the 6th of December (the birthday of an old bishop). Maybe the NFK kids also deserve some sweets….
IN THE FUTURE…
The day everyone looks forward to, is getting closer. Wednesday 10/12 NFK celebrates Christmas. Come to our Christmas party, buy therefor your ticket at the desk of the library. The dinner, jazz music and outstanding company costs only €12!
The NFK choir will sing in the vigil that evening. Participating in the choir is very nice to do and a unique experience. Repetitions are planned Tuesday 02/12, Friday 05/12, Monday 08/12, Tuesday 09/12 and Wednesday 10/12 from 13:00 till 14:00 in the Leo XIII chapel.
