Niet getreurd indien logica nog niet zo logisch klinkt! Naast de gewone lessen en het monitoraat biedt NFK je bijlessen logica aan. Maandag 7 december wordt er weer een sessie georganiseerd om 18:00 in lokaal C, over predikatenlogica. Er zal ook veel tijd besteed worden aan het beantwoorden van jullie vragen. Als je specifieke moeilijkheden of vragen hebt, kan je die in een mailtje sturen naar cudi@nfk.be, zodat we gericht al jullie problemen kunnen oplossen.
Kom op dinsdag om 21:00 voor de laatste keer in 2015 genieten van goede muziek en zinnige gesprekken in de fakbar. Nee, het is niet de laatste fakbar van het semester, maar als laatste fakbar (op 15 december) staat de marginale FRAKbar gepland waarbij zowel de muziek als de gesprekken absolute nonsens zullen zijn.
Op woensdag 9 december is het alweer tijd voor de laatste sportactiviteit van dit semester. Om helemaal in de kerstsfeer te komen, gaan we van 13:30 tot 15:30 schaatsen! We spreken af aan de poort van het HIW. De schaatsbaan ligt in Haasrode (Ondernemingenweg 1, 3001 Heverlee). De kostprijs bedraagt €4, of €2 als je eigen schaatsen meeneemt.
Schaatsen is de ideale en leukste manier om al die extra calorieën te verbranden die je gaat eten op het jaarlijkse Kerstfeest. Ook dit jaar nodigt NFK opnieuw elke student, professor en medewerker aan het HIW uit om weer een jaar van rondzwerven zonder zekere bestemming te vieren. Op woensdag is er om 18:30 een Kerstviering, gevolgd door een receptie (19:00) in de Kristoffelzaal. Zowel de viering als de receptie zijn gratis. Het diner zelf start om 20:00 en heeft plaats in de Sint-Antoniuszaal. De kapel en zalen bevinden zich te Heverlee, op de Leon Schreursvest nummer 33. Tickets voor het diner zijn verkrijgbaar aan de balie van de bibliotheek. Wacht niet te lang om er eentje te kopen, want het Kerstfeest heeft wel eens de gewoonte om uitverkocht te raken. Een ticket kost €12 voor studenten en €15 voor professoren.
Voor wie nog steeds in kerststemming is en maar niet genoeg kan krijgen van het overheerlijke eten van het kerstfeest, hebben we goed nieuws: ook onze broodmaaltijd staat helemaal in het teken van kerstmis! Deze vrijdag tussen 12:00 en 14:00 kan je, naast de vertrouwde boterhammetjes, ook de rest van het eten krijgen dat niet is opgeraakt op woensdagavond. En dat allemaal nog steeds maar voor €1,50!

NFKALENDAR
We organise tutoring sessions for Logic, aside from the normal classes. Another session takes place on Monday the 7th of December from 18:00 to 20:00 in aula C. We’ll mainly talk about predicate logic, but also spend a lot of time to answer all of your questions. If you’ve got some specific problems or questions, do not hesitate to send an email to cudi@nfk.be, in order for us to effectively solve all of your problems.
Come enjoy great music and meaningful conversations in our fakbar for the last time in 2015 on Tuesday at 21:00. No, it isn’t the last fakbar of the semester, but the last one (on the 15th of December) will be the Chavbar in which the music as well as the conversations will be complete nonsense.
On Wednesday December 9th it is the day of the last sports activity of this semester. In order to really get into the Christmas spirit, we’re going ice skating from 13:30 to 15:30! We gather at the gates of the HIW. The icerink is located in Haasrode (Ondernemingenweg 1, 3001 Heverlee). The entree fee is €4, or €2 if you bring your own skates.
Ice skating is the ideal and most fun way to burn all those extra calories you’re going to eat during our Christmas Dinner! NFK once again invites every student, professor and those who work at the HIW to celebrate another year of having wandered around aimlessly. On Wednesday there will be a Christmas vigil at 18:30, followed by a reception (19:00) in the Kristoffelhall. These are free. The actual dinner starts at 20:00 and will take place in the Sint-Antoniushall. The chapel and halls are located in Heverlee, at Leon Schreursvest 33. Tickets for the dinner are available at the library desk. Don’t wait too long to buy them, because the Christmas party has a reputation for being sold out every year. The price of the tickets is €12 for students and €15 for professors.
For those of you who are still in the Christmas mood and just couldn’t get enough of the delicious food of the Christmas Dinner, we have good news: our bread meal is in Christmas theme too! This Friday between 12:00 and 14:00, aside from the usual sandwiches, you can come and eat the leftovers of the food of Wednesday evening. And all this still only costs €1,50!
