Dinsdag herdenken we Wapenstilstand. We gebruiken deze dag om nog eens extra te tonen dat we allemaal van elkaar houden. Hoe kan dat beter dan met reggae-muziek?

Laat dus allemaal je liefde zien op onze peacefak vanaf 22:00 in M-café. De dresscode voor deze avond is peaceful of warrior, de twee best verklede personen krijgen een gratis drankje. Kom dus zeker in thema! Je kan bovendien NFK-truien, T-shirts en operakaarten kopen. Vergeet ook je affectie voor deWijzer niet en kom naar de redactievergadering om 22:30 in het zaaltje boven de fakbar.
OPERA

Ter ere van Hans zijn verjaardag gaan we woensdag allemaal samen naar de opera. De opvoering begint om 20:00 in de Schouwburg (Bondgenotenlaan 21), maar we spreken al af om 19:00 in de lounge waar onze masterstudent James Owen een korte inleiding op opera zal geven. Er zijn nog slechts enkele kaarten in de cudi. Maar je kan ook nog steeds kaarten bestellen op de site van 30 CC (http://www.30cc.be/programma/musical-opera-en-operette/a-grand-opera-night.jsp)

Om de week af te sluiten kan je vrijdag komen chillen in de lounge tijdens onze broodmaaltijd van 12:00 tot 14:00. Deze keer zelfs met aangepaste muziek!
TOEKOMSTMUZIEK
Op maandag 17 november organiseert NFK een literaire kaas- en wijnavond. Je kan komen genieten van gedichten met een bijpassend glas wijn vanaf 20:00, in de Salons van het HIW. Om de poëzie helemaal tot zijn recht te laten komen, is er een formele, black tie dresscode. Inschrijven op voorhand is verplicht en kan op de lijst die aan de balie van de bib ligt. Prijs is €5. Plaatsen zijn beperkt, dus wacht zeker niet te lang om je in te schrijven voor dit culturele hoogtepunt van het semester.

Tuesday we remember the Armistice. We take this day as the opportunity to show that we all love each other. How to do this better than with reggae-music?

Show your love on our peacefak from 22:00 in the M-café. The dress code for this evening is peaceful or warrior, the two best dressed people get a free drink. So make sure you’re in theme! You can also buy NFK sweaters, T-shirts and opera tickets tonight.

In honour of Hans’ birthday we go together to the opera on Wednesday. The performance begins at 20:00 in the Schouwburg (Bondgenotenlaan 21), but we also gather at 19:00 in the lounge where our master student James Owen will give a short introduction to opera. There are only a few tickets in the cudi (our students book service). However tickets are still sold at The 30 CC-site (http://www.30cc.be/programma/musical-opera-en-operette/a-grand-opera-night.jsp).

To finish the week you can come over to the lounge on Friday to chill during our bread meal from 12:00 to 14:00. This time even with customized music!
IN THE FUTURE…
NFK organises a literary evening on the 17th of November. You can come and enjoy some poetry in the Salons at the HIW, starting from 20:00. There will be wine and cheese to accompany these poems. To allow the poetry to bloom to its full potential, the evening will have a formal black tie dress code. Registration is mandatory; the registration list can be found at the front desk of the library. The price is €5. The amount of attendees is limited, so don’t wait to sign up for this cultural highlight of the semester.
