Greetings, new philosophy students and other dear readers. This is the WegWijzer, a weekly leaflet that (hopefully) always gets updated on the weekend, where we announce and explain all activities organized by or related to NFK. You can always find additional information about events on www.facebook.com/nfkleuven or you can pay us a visit at the information booth in the main hall of the HIW.

Tour through Leuven
After the info session organised by the faculty you will have the option to go with us and your fellow students on tour through Leuven. We will show you a few important locations and places where you might have classes in the future so be sure to follow along. Eventually all groups will converge at alma1 to have a dinner, organised by the faculty.

Fakbar
We will have our first infamous Fakbar (Faculty Bar) of the year in M-Café. We run this bar weekly and always on Tuesdays. The theme of the evening is Speed dating so you will have the option to join and socialize with first year students and other people who frequent the Fakbar.

Pub Crawl
We are organizing a pub crawl, the idea is that we will visit other faculty bars and bars that we deem to be worth visiting. We will meet up at the institute around 9pm so come and join us on this adventure.

Breadmeal
We will have our first breadmeal of the year, you can come eat bread and other related foods together with philosophy students in the student lounge under the HIW from 12am until 2pm (if you can’t seem to find the place you can always ask at the information booth). The price is set at 1,5 euros and you can eat as much as you want (within reasonable range of course) there is also the option to roast your bread and make coffee or tea and many other things.
