Wegwijzer week 8b: 31/03 – 04/04

Deze week staat volledig in het teken van onze Open Expo!
Wij zijn zeer trots om zoveel filosofisch talent tentoon te stellen op de prachtige locatie van het Kartuizerklooster. Treedt binnen door de poort op Bankstraat 75 en geniet van een avond/week vol schoonheid, gezelligheid en vertier!
Maandag openen we feestelijk om 18u met een receptie waarbij Stéphane Symons ons te woord zal staan. Om 19u gaat de expositie van start, aangevuld door poëzie, theater, dans en muziek. Iedereen is welkom om het talent van onze studenten en enkele Faculty Stars te bewonderen tot 23u!
Dinsdag houden we het rustig en is de expositie doorlopend open van 19u tot 22u. Daarna zetten we allemaal koers richting M-café voor een gezellige avond in de fakbar natuurlijk!
Woendsdag is de Open Expo net als dinsdag open van 19 tot 22u, maar waarschijnlijk zijn de meesten te vinden op de Beiaardcantus. Deze start om 18u op het Ladeuzeplein. Onze kaarten zijn helaas uitverkocht, maar het is nog steeds de moeite om eens een kijkje te gaan nemen.
Donderdag vliegen we er weer in voor een avond vol kunst en amusement vanaf 18u. Bovendien kan je je aan de balie van de bib nog tot en met dinsdag 1 april inschrijven voor de kaas en wijnavond om 20u. Deelname kost €5, die je donderdagavond ter plekke kan betalen.
Vrijdag genieten we gezamenlijk na bij een heerlijke Paasbroodmaaltijd. Kom voor €1,50 smullen van lekkere paaseitjes, om 13u in de lounge.
En het is nog niet gedaan met genieten! Zaterdag vindt het Feest van de Filosofie plaats! Het start om 13u30 in 30CC en het STUK en het thema is ‘mens en techniek’.

This week it’s all about our Open expo!
We are proud to have so many talented philosophy students exposing their work at the old Carthusian abbey.
Step through the gates of Bankstraat 75 and enjoy a week full of cosiness.
We open the Open expo on Monday at 6 pm. Stephane Symons will do an opening speech, and there will be a reception. The rest of the night you can visit the exhibition and enjoy live acts among which music, dance and impro.
You can also visit the exhibition on Tuesday between 7 and 10 pm. Afterwards you’re welcome to come and join us at the M-café, as usual.
On Wednesday, the open expo will also be open from 7pm till 10 pm but most of you will of course be at the Carillon cantus on the Ladeuze Plein which starts at 6 pm. Unfortunately, all tickets are sold out, but it’s still worth the effort to go and take a look.
On Thursday we organise another evening full of culture and entertainment at the Open expo. Be there at 6 pm! And to top it all of you can buy tickets –until Tuesday the first April at desk in the library- for our cheese buffet at the open expo. It starts at 20pm and costs only 5 euros, to be paid at the event itself.
On Friday there is our Easter bread meal! For just 1.5€ you can have all the Easter eggs you can eat.
But the NFK-week does not end on Friday, ‘cause on Saturday there is the Feast of philosophy (feest van de filosofie). It starts at 1:30pm at 30CC and the STUK. The theme this year is man and technology.
