Dinsdag vindt het InterFacultair Theaterfestival plaats. Het begint om 20.00, maar de deuren gaan al open om 19.30. De eigenlijke speeldata (maart tot mei) van de tonelen worden ingeleid door een openingsavond met teasers. Daarna is er een gratis receptie. De perfecte voordrink dus voor onze wekelijkse fakbar die opent om 21.00.
Trouwweetje: als je wedding wodka drinkt, ben je binnen het jaar getrouwd. Op deze trouw is het traditie dat je de zaal pas mag betreden in ruil voor meer wodka: dit brengt namelijk geluk.
Woensdag kan je een kaartje kopen voor de beiaardcantus om 20.30 aan het HIW. LOKO is een beetje loco (sorry, heel flauw ik weet het) gegaan met de regels dus hier gaan we: De verkoop start om 20u30 stipt; een rij vormen kan op het binnenplein van het HIW (de kassa zal onder het afdakje staan). NFK heeft 47 kaarten gekregen om te verkopen. OP = OP. Een kaart kost €15,- en de cantus is op bier (of water). Eigen drank is niet toegestaan! De r-nummers worden gecontroleerd en gelinkt aan de tickets: je moet dus zeker je studentenpas meebrengen. Het is belangrijk dat je een ‘fulltime’ filosofiestudent bent. Als je dat niet bent moet je bij een andere kring je ticket kopen. Je kan maar twee tickets per persoon kopen en hebt voor het tweede ticket ook altijd de studentenpas nodig van diegene. Vergeet die dus niet mee te brengen!
Ook in Vilnius moeten de regels streng nageleefd worden! Op een iet of wat shady site ben ik erachter gekomen dat de burgemeester van Vilnius fout geparkeerde wagens aanpakt door er met de tank over te rijden. Als je wil factchecken of een filmpje kijken waar de burgemeester in actie te zien is, klik dan hier.
Donderdag vertrekken we op cultuurreis naar Vilnius! Als je meegaat, word je aan de Bodart parking verwacht om 13.45. Wachten op laatkomers zal niet mogelijk zijn door het strakke tijdschema. We zullen zondag het vliegtuig terugnemen om 21.10 en in Leuven aankomen om 00.45. Vergeet niet een kopie te maken van je identiteitsbewijs en dit op te sturen naar vilniustrip@nfk.be, datzelfde kaartje zal je ook nodig hebben om op het vliegtuig te geraken dus zeker niet vergeten meebrengen donderdag. In de mail staan nog meer details, lees deze dus goed na voor vertrek.
Interessante ervaring 25 km van Vilnius: er is een museum/bunker die speciaal gebouwd is om mensen een authentieke Sovjetervaring te geven. Je moet er al je bezittingen afgeven, een gasmasker dragen, ondervraagd worden door een KGB-agent en omdat het leuk moet blijven zal je ook dansen op muziek van die tijd. Voor meer info klik hier.
Door de cultuurreis zal er deze week geen broodmaaltijd zijn op vrijdag.

NFK zkt nieuw praesidium! Ben je een toffe meid of jongen en heb je teveel vrije tijd ? Kom dan zeker 21 maart naar de infosessie in aula B van 20.00 tot 22.00 over het nieuwe praesidium! Het is geheel vrijblijvend.

On Tuesday we have the InterFacultair Theaterfestival. It starts at 20.00 but the doors open at 19.30. The different theatres’ get introduced with teasers and afterwards there is a free reception. The theatres’ will be Dutch but feel free to come and drink for free at the reception. Afterwards we can all go to the fakbar. The bar opens at 21.00.
Marriagefact: if you drink wedding vodka, you will be married in the next year. It is also tradition to give the bride and groom vodka before you enter the party because that brings good luck.
Wednesday you can buy tickets for the beiaardcantus at 20.30 at the HIW. LOKO went a little loco (I know, lame joke) with the rules, so here we go: The sale will start at 20h30 sharp on the court of the HIW. NFK has 47 tickets for sale, each one costs €15 (beer or water). Only fulltime philosophy students can buy their tickets with NFK (also doctoral students). Every ticket will be linked to your student’s number, so bring your student’s card! You are allowed to have one warrant from a fellow student (bring his/her student’s card)!
Vilnius is also strict about following the rules. I found this article on a shady website where you see a video of the mayor riding over cars who were not parked right with a tank. If you want to see for yourself check this.
Thursday we leave for Vilnius! If you come with us, we expect you at the Bodart parking at 13.45. We won’t be able to wait for latecomers since we have a strict time schedule. We take the plane at 5.20 p.m.. Sunday we take the plane at 9.10 p.m.. We arrive in Leuven at 12.45 p.m.. Don’t forget to send a copy of your ID to vilniustrip@nfk.be. Also don’t forget to bring your ID, you will be needing that to get on the plane. You will find more details in the e-mail so definitely check that before leaving.
Interesting experience 25 km from Vilnius: 5 meters below the ground you find yourself in the USSR. Here you can visit the first in the world Underground Museum of Socialism or to join “1984.Survival Drama” and become a citizen of a totalitarian state. During the Survival drama you will be met by guards with dogs. Having waved goodbye to your belongings, currency, cameras and mobile phones, you will put on a Soviet threadbare coat and dive into the life of a USSR citizen, full of tension and social peculiarities. You’ll be taken to the maze, watch TV shows and shops of 1984, be interrogated in a KGB office, learn the anthem of the USSR and get used to wearing a gas mask. You’ll dance to the music of those times and will eat a Soviet dinner yourself. Before leaving the bunker you will receive a special certificate and an authentic present from the Soviet times.
The breadmeal on Friday will not take place this week because of the culture trip.
