Wegwijzer week 6b: 17/03 – 21/03

Zondagavond kruipt menig student weer uit het hol waar hij twee dagen genoten heeft van moeders keuken en propere lakens. Tijd om ook de planning van de volgende week eens door te nemen.
Maandag slaapt u uit en aangezien uw voornemen om vroeg te beginnen met studeren toch al naar de botten is denkt u maar eens na over wat u allemaal mee moet nemen naar Boedapest.
Dinsdag studeert u toch beetje om uw wenteling in zelfmedelijden van maandag te compenseren en voor u het beseft is het 22u: tijd om naar de fakbar te gaan voor die pint die u na een dag studeren toch wel verdiend hebt.
Indien u nog energie over hebt mag u die volledig uiten door uitbundig te komen supporteren voor El Yunque op het IFR (Interfacultaire Rockrally), om 18u30 in het Depot. Kaarten zijn tot en met maandag te koop in onze Cudi voor €4 of aan de kassa voor €5.
Woendag besluit u om eens een kijkje te gaan nemen op de Studentenmarathon, want wat heeft een mens anders te doen om 16u en een wandeling naar het sportkot is toch gezond, nietwaar? Zin om eens zot te doen en gewoon mee te lopen? U vindt alle info op studentenmarathon.be.
Om 21u hebt u het daar ook wel gehad en hebt u gewoon zin in een zetel, bier en popcorn. NFK voorziet in uw behoeften met een Filmavond en speelt The Truman Show af in de lounge. Ook de hongerigen onder ons zullen voldaan wederkeren: we verkopen hotdogs aan slechts 50 cent.
Donderdag beseft u dat u nog altijd niet weet wat mee te nemen naar Boedapest. Tip: kijk eens naar het weerbericht en lees de laatste mail eens na.
Als naast uw reiskoffer ook uw examenrooster één grote warboel is, kom dan langs op onze onderwijsbabbel om 14u30 in de lounge. Onze onderwijsverantwoordelijke zit voor u klaar om uw beklag over vakken of het examenrooster te incasseren.
Vrijdag stijgt u om 11u10 op richting Boedapest met een halflege koffer omdat u nog steeds niet wist wat mee te nemen. Geen probleem, het is ginder goedkoop en de traditionele kledij is ook niet mis. Mis uw afspraak om 8u10 in Leuven (Martelarenplein aan het station) of 9u in Zaventem niet!
Om 13u slaat uw honger toe en u wordt wat sip omdat er geen broodmaaltijd is, maar niet getreurd: volgende week staan we weer voor u klaar!

We doen nog steeds de oproep om al je creativiteit met ons te delen op de Open Expo. Of je nu schrijft, tekent, schildert of fotografeert, mail naar cultuur@nfk.be en we stellen je werk tentoon! Deadline voor inzendingen: 19 maart.
We geven gratis tickets weg voor de thuiswedstrijd van de Leuven Bears tegen Brussels op woensdag 26 maart 2014 om 20u30 in de Sportoase! Mail voor 20 maart naar sport@nfk.be hoeveel tickets je wilt reserveren als je deze basketbalmatch graag bij zou wonen.

Since Leuven is very dull during the weekend, you’ve spend your weekend in bed.
Since it is hard work to recover from a dull weekend, we advise you to stay in bed all day on Monday. (Or maybe study a bit. )
On Tuesday, you might study since you wasted yesterday, but one thing is for sure: at 10 pm you’ll be at the M-café for our Fakbar!
You could also enjoy some live music at the Depot, because they’ll be hosting the finale of the interfaculty Rockrally. There will be El Yunque, who will represent our faculty, and many more. Tickets are available at the cudi for €4 or at the Depot for €5. It starts at 18:30.
On Wednesday you’ll go and have a look at the Studentmarathon at Sportkot at 4 pm. What else is there to do on Wednesdays ? There is one thing: you could participate. You’ll find the necessary information on studentenmarathon.be.
Afterwards all you long for is a seat. You’ll find it in the Lounge at 9 pm because there will be a movie night. We’ll be showing the Truman Show, and there ‘ll be popcorn and beer!
On Thursday You have to pack for Budapest! Don’t forget to check the weather and reread the last e-mail.
If you have questions or remarks about education, your ISP, a lecture or if you are interested in general in the structure of student representation we invite you to our Education talk in the Lounge. It starts at 14:30.
On Friday we leave for Budapest. Our flight leaves at 11:10. We meet at 08:10 In Leuven (Martelarenplein near the trainstation) or 09:00 at Zaventem airport.
There will be no bread meal.
