NFK hosts an open expo! Philosophy students can exhibit their own art (all kinds) in the salons of the HIW. Everyone is welcome on April 24th at 19h to attend our opening reception and to visit the exposition during the opening hours.
19:30-22:00 Wijzer Poetry Performance (@ HIW, salons)
At the opening of the NFK open expo, writers of the Wijzer will perform their poems for the last edition of the magazine themed ‘madness/mental health’
20:00-22:00 Brainstorm session about the thesis delay (HIW, room N)
At the faculty of philosophy there is a discussion about the thesis delay in the master and research master.
In this brainstormsession we would like to talk about the problems students encounter during the master/research master programme. We would also like to discuss the solutions for these problems. More specific what kind of changes are needed to help students finish their thesis in june.

22:00-00:00 Wijzer movie night ‘The Idiots’ (HIW, aula C)
A Documentary about the people in the La Borde psychiatric clinic, an asylum established in the beginning of the 1960’s by Jean Oury and Felix Guattari. Nicolas Philibert films the patients and staff as they are rehearsing and preparing for their summer play, this year being the modernist, absurdist classic “Operette” by Witold Gombrowicz. In little fragments of everyday life, the neuroses and psychoses of patients become apparent.
