In this infosession the application procedure will be explained and former outgoing exchange students will talk about their experiences.

16.00 – 16.30 NFK Christmas Vigil and Choir Performance

Leo XIII Chapel, Tiensestraat 112

Every student, professor, alumnus/-a and other associate of the faculty is invited for the vigil that precedes our Christmas dinner.

The HIW Choir will gladden your ears with their lovely singing, definitely worth the while. Don’t miss this opportunity to enjoy a performance by our very own choir.

We hope to welcome you there and wish you all a merry Christmas!

After the vigil, at 16.40, we’ll get together at the garden in front of the HIW to walk to the Christmas dinner. It’s a 25 minutes walk and it’s of course way more fun to do it in a group!

The merriest holiday of the year is almost there! NFK is happy to invite you all on a Christmas dinner. Every student, professor, alumnus/-a and other associate of the faculty is welcome to join us on this grand day.

The reception starts at 5PM and is immediately followed by the dinner itself. You can find the menu on our website.

12:00 – 14:00 Christmas Breadmeal

Lounge

Because NFK doesn’t like to throw away food, we will serve the rests of the Christmas dinner on our last breadmeal. In this way, people who couldn’t make it on the NFKhristmas dinner will also have the opportunity to taste the delicious food we prepared for our students. People who were present, but can’t get enough of it or certainly also welcome. And this for only €1.5, IF you clean your dishes of course.

Monday 02/12

19:15 – 02:00 NFK Culture goes to Dishwash #11: Filmmaker + Sunshine Reverberation and Onionfuzz.

We’ll meet at Leuven Station at 7:15PM, then we’ll go to JH SOJO in Kessel-Lo.

There Onionfuzz, a fuzz-rock/stoner band from Leuven who will be competing in the finale of Soundtrack, will warm up the stage. Next is the Norwegian psychedelic rock band Sunshine Reverberation. We’ll end the party with a DJ set from the Colombian producer Filmmaker!

Income is 5 euro, a good evening is guaranteed!

20:00 – 23:30 Sinterklaas vs Santa Claus Cantus

Let’s decide once and for all who the real December Patron is, the holy good old man Saint-Nicholas or the jolly Santa Claus? Maybe if we sing some beautiful songs together they’ll both bring us presents!

It’s an initiationcantus so perfect for those who haven’t gone to a cantus before! We’ll explain how everything goes and what the rules are. Don’t worry, NFK cantusses are not exactly like any other cantus. Anyway, we definitely won’t force you to do anything and are very happy to welcome all of you to get to know the phenomenon a cantus is.

You can buy your codex at the cantus for 10 euro.

18:45 – 23:00 NFK Culture goes to: M-useum Night

Join us to go to Musuem M’s M-useum Night together and experience the museum like never before! We’ll meet at 18h45 at the HIW.

There will be art, there will be some really good music, what else do you want? Oh yes, it’s also completely free with a culture card and only 5 euro for students without a culture card!

You don’t want to miss this!

We’ll watch movies in the lounge all day! It’s the perfect way to spend your day after our cantus or it’s a nice break between studying. Feel free to suggest movies you would like to see and make it as cosy as possible by bringing a blanket.
